Violet cough. She shrugged the thought in her head, reminding herself to stop thinking like a teenager when she was an adult. Apart from that, it is only a waste of time thinking about that insignificant man in her life.

”You are wrong, grandma. Im only thinking about my meeting with a Real Estate company. They keep bothering me, and I am thinking of a way to turn them down. ” Her lame alibi.

Violet glanced at her grandma after saying that. However, the older woman was only beaming at her, telling her she could not lie to her.

On the one hand, Lucy smiled because she saw the blush on Violets cheeks. Seeing that, she stopped teasing her granddaughter and started another topic.

That was a joke. Violet glanced at her grandma. However, the older lady broadened her smile. Violet felt defeated, so she gave up on her grandmas wittiness.

If Lucy isn her beloved grandma, shed be upset about being nosy in her love life. But Violet knew the older lady only cared for her.

Violet resumed eating and chatting with her grandma for over an hour before proceeding to her work. She enjoys her second cup of coffee while reading some reports when her mobile phone buzzes.
