He looked around and found himself in a small, dark and bumpy shipping container, surrounded by darkness.
There was a baffle in the middle of the container, and with his movement, the sound of the conversation on the other side of the baffle stopped.

“He’s awake?” A hoarse, low voice came from behind the baffle.

“Yeah.” Gu Nai nodded, his black eyes always locked on Xu Xinghe.

“The plan has changed.
Give him a few more sleeping pills and let him sleep again.”

“Got it, where’s the medicine?” Gu Nai asked.

“I’ll get it.”

“I’m going to prepare too.”

“You stay and watch.”

With the sound of the door slamming, a few people left the container, while others stayed, but never showed their faces.

Gu Nai sat down on a tin box in front of Xu Xinghe, looked at him calmly.
The corner of his mouth hooked up when he spoke, “How is Team Leader Xu feeling now?”

Xu Xinghe replied blankly, “It’s okay, it’s just a little soreness.”

Gu Nai smiled: “Muscle soreness should be caused by climbing the mountain, it has nothing to do with me.”
