Their blows were lightning quick and neither seemed to have the upper hand. Alton swung a fist and Leon blocked. Leon sent a back kick and Alton avoided it.

Their moves were ferocious and full of tension. As their blows became harder and harder to see their physic power began to spill out of the shield. The shield usually would block both physic and physical attacks unless it was too overwhelmed. The soldiers watched on in awe and anxiety as the fight continued.

On second they were wrestling on the ground the next one would be on the other side of the stage. Their momentum seemed to be competing with each other, trying to over power the other. In one particular moment Alton and Leon were standing on opposite sides of the stage. After a subtle shift of their bodys a flash of crackling physic power blinked the eyes of the observers.

This is a rather rare event, when a person with a large large amount of physic power has channeled it and meets with another physic power of the same amount their physic power becomes visible to the naked eye. Resulting in something like large flashes of lightning. This so what the soldiers were witnessing.

Except in the very moment of the collision the shield surrounding the battle stage broke, and the overwhelming physic power spilled out. Almost immediately the two buckled down on the outbreak of their own physic power trying to suppress their excessive strength.

The soldiers nearest the stage did their best to withstand and withdraw and once the situation calmed down the tension in the air between Alton and Leon had completely dissipated. The fight was over.

As the soldiers talked about the fight Alton apologized to Leon,

”Im sorry, i got a bit caught up for a moment and wasn careful. ”

Leon stared at Altons slightly apologetic face and only smiled. Not hiding his competitive spirt he spoke,

”It doesn matter to me, i look forward to our next fight. I haven had such a good spat in a while! ”

Altons spirt seemed to surge in response to the comment and he had to admit that the thrill of that battle had indeed awakened his fighting spirt and he too wanted to spar again.

Alton and Leon gradually drifted away from each other, both busy speaking with their own soldiers

reviewing the battle and talking about the other empires moves and experience.

The day ended peacefully and when Alton returned to the residence where he was staying he finally got a chance to think about Leons final words.

In 5 days they would go on a joint group exercises to a nearby plants village to do some monster clean up. It was a routine thing only this year they would be coming along as well.

The days passed quickly, Alton moved from area to area where his soldiers were placed getting the full experience of the Poga Empire. Finally the day they departed to the planet Flix, to clear the monster birds had come.

The boarding process was easy, they each brought about half their troops and set off to Flix. Leon and Alton discussed plans and after making some tweaks they finalized the plan. Only Alton didn know that this plan would soon go to waste.

The arrival was welcomed with open arms, since the era they were in was mostly centered around technology their weapons were very powerful. After stayed for two days they will have had cleared out all the monsters and would be ready to go back.

They landed in a small city and we
e staying in a large well built institution. As they walked the people who greeted them when they first arrived introduced the city to them. While walking Altons sharp senses picked up many gazes, he was used to the large amount of attention and didn pay it much attention until he sensed a strong spiritual fluctuation.

It seemed he wasn the only one who sensed it as Leon also suddenly stoped moving. The creature who had greeted them quickly sent a group of guards to check out the situation. Soon a small child was brought over. The child was dirty their clothes torn in some places.

The child spiritual powers were fluctuating at a dangerous level. Spiritual fluctuations usually meant the person was experiencing some kind of mental stress, it could be from strong emotions or form a attack.

It didn matter much as long as the person is under control of themselves and realizes theyve lost control of their spiritual power or if their spiritual power is so weak that making spiritual fluctuations don harm anyone.

Then their are the people who experience these kind of fluctuations and don restrain themselves. This is called going berserk. This child in front of him was in a state of extreme spiritual fluctuations, on the cusp of going berserk.

She was even more aggravated by the rough handling of the soldiers. Feeling the tension Leon made quick judgment and decided to bring the child with them. After bossing around the man who lead the group in greeting them by making him prepare a room that could withstand a berserk transformation they placed the child inside.

They found the child was a young girl who was without parents and presumably without another other family.

Leon and Alton stepped out of the room and watched the medical staff try to coax the young girl to take medicine that will help calm her emotions.

Going berserk drains the spiritual energy of the person experiencing it and in some cases the

berserker would attack anyone in the surroundings and fight until they exhaust themselves.

Leon and Alton discussed shortly and decided to still take the soldiers out to defeat the monster, they didn want to waste any more time than nessary and seeing how the girl had calmed down somewhat they no longer felt the need to stay.

Who knew that the young girl, Yair had been laying attention to the two men who had brought her back. When she saw them begin to leave her somewhat stable emotions went crazy.

”..Don leave! Your going to leave me… ”

The childs sobbing startled the nearby medical staff and feeling the huge and sudden increase in wild spiritual power realized the child was going berserk!

In a shock wave entirely made out of incredibly strong spiritual power the medical staff were all flung backwards with varying degrees of Injurys.

Alton and Leon rushed back to the room and after assess the cracked floor and walls as well as the running medical staff knew that they needed to stay.

As the situation worsened the childs spiritual power began to weaken. The exhaustion was settling in.

After inquiring and finding out the child went crazy right after seeing them leave Alton felt a little complicated.

It reminded him a bit of Amir, who would get upset when Alton was gone for longer periods of time than promised. Although she never said it outright when he finally got home she was stuck to him at all times and look at him with teary eyes it he tried to leave her.

”Leon, if i can go in and talk to the child perhaps she can be reasoned with. ”

With these thoughts Alton felt a little more caring to this small girl and made a offer to Leon. Before Leon could answer the man who picked them up, Rex spoke up.

”Star Commander Alton..while the offer is a good one this sort of thing can be handled by someone else. Besides its better not to be injured right before you set out. ”

Alton and Leon looked at each other.

”Alton i don think hes wrong, lets wait and see if another soldier could help. ”

For a child who was going berserk perhaps other would think it was funny but that is only in normal situations. Child naturally don have as much spiritual power as adults so even if they went berserk it could be handled easily.

But not this child. Watching as two different soldiers who approached get blasted away by spiritual power it was obvious the dangerous spiritual fluctuations they felt earlier were really from this child. Her spiritual power was incredibly powerful.

In the end Alton put on some protection gear and a headset, ready to communicate if he needed help and stepped into the room.

The moment he stepped into the room the spiritual power surged crazily!

Immediately Alton shouted for the doors to be shut, the spiritual power was causing issues with the people outside the room. They needed to be careful.

Leon quickly took control of the situation and urged Alton to leave,

”Alton, the childs gone into a semi unconscious state! Please be careful. ”

Alton spoke quickly through the com,

”Its even more vital i help this child, if she continues like this in her semi-unconscious state she faces the possibility of seriously injuring herself. ”
