Great spent the rest of her night in a room, it was cold, and she was shivering. Alan came in,

”This is called a reflection room. ” He said as he threw a huge sweater on her. He continued, ”this is the room where you reflect upon your actions. ”

”Please Mr Alan, I didn know it would be that bad. ” Great said almost crying.

”Your actions have consequences, which you must face. In this room, you will be faced with different trials, until you admit you were wrong. ” Alan said.

”This is not fair, Mr Alan you know that. I did not see Jason here when he made me turn in the training ground. ” Greta said as she shivered.

”What you did was even worse Greta, until you see that, that is only when you would be let out of this place, ” Alan said so as he left the room. Greta quickly ran after him, she banged on the door several times but it did not budge. Soon multitudes of doors began to appear, and she was horrified. She looked around and she screamed.

Auriela was already in her customized HMA pyjamas when she heard a knock on the door, she opened the door to see Jason, and she was startled. She would have never imagined Jason at her doorstep,

”Hey, did I wake you up? ” Jason said in a sleepy tone.

”No, no you didn , ” Auriela said, ”what are you doing here? ” Auriela asked as she adjusted her hair chuckling.

”Can I come in? ” Jason asked.

”Sure, ”

Jason came inside Aurielas, and he carried her up and gave her a big hug. Auriela was stunned,

”Jason, whats going on? ” She asked.

Jason grabbed her softly by the chin and gave a light kiss, after which he said,

”Thank you, Ariana. ”

Auriela corrected him saying it was Auriela. She touched her lips, she couldn believe Jason kissed her.

”My bad, thanks Auriela. ” He said as he left her room. Immediately after he left Auriela started to go haywire, her magic started displaying signs of happiness. She jumped on top of her bed with joy saying she can wait to tell Gia. She paused her celebration,

”I can wait to tell my dad. ” She said sorrowfully as she sat down on her bed to remember her past,

Auriela got a text message from an unknown number. It read

”Wanna get your revenge? ”

Auriela was left confused. She texted back asking the person who it was. She replied saying she just wants to help a fellow girlfriend. Then Auriela replied with a bunch of question marks. Then the mysterious girl replied in caps lock- ANDREA. Auriela suddenly became interested and replied- when?

The girl asked Auriela to meet her in an alley and she agreed. She sneaked out through her window to meet the mysterious girl. When she got to the alley, the girl brought out an envelope.

”In it contains a green tonic that will change your life forever Auriela, ” The girl said dressed in a dark hoodie

”I don want to change my life you said something about revenge, thats what Im here for, ” Auriela said

”When you take it, trust me, you can have your revenge on Andrea and many more ”

”So Im just supposed to take a tonic from a stranger? ”

”Its your choice, ” she said then handed the tonic out to Aurelia. She collected it, opened up the envelope and took out the tonic in a glass. She opened it up. She looked at the mysterious girl for some moment, then she drank the tonic. Immediately after she was done with the tonic, the girl blew some powder on Aurielas face which made her pass out. Then the mysterious girl turned into a man in a neat tux. He arranged his tie then lifted Auriela. He put her in the back of his car and drove off.

PRESENT-DAY

Alex laid on his bed thinking about his birthday tomorrow, he thought to himself,

So Im not gonna celebrate my birthday with my mum, siblings, Avia? He thought of his stash a lot. He wondered if his mum had already seen it in her car. He began to remember the last time he saw his stash,

There Alex was, sat put at the front seat of his mothers car. Suddenly, he notices a pack of weeds in the pigeon-hole – the ones his mother seized from him. He wanted to pick them up and snuff but he was reluctant. He couldn hold himself any longer so he collected it and started sniffing it. It felt so good. Suddenly, he heard a knock on the windows of the car. He became startled. He wound the windows down after hiding the weed.

”Shit! ” He cussed

”I don have any money, sorry, ” Alex said waiting for the guy to go but he didn .

”So after all the rehab and your mothers tears, you can give up on drugs, ” the guy said with a hoarse voice. Alex was left dumbfounded. He couldn believe what he had just heard.

”I have an offer for you Gates. I swear to you, you can refuse it. This envelope contains a brown tonic that can change your life forever ” The guy said handing out the envelope to him.

”Who are you? ” Alex asked in shock

”When you take it, meet me at the alley right across the street, Ill explain everything to you Gates. My numbers are in the envelope ” The guy said as he walks away, leaving Alex with a choice.

Greta began to panic, she wondered what could be behind the mysterious doors. She screamed out of frustration. She began to scream,

”Let me out! Let me out! Let me out! ”

All she could hear were echoes of her own voice. She fell to her knees sobbing,

”Im sorry, Im sorry Keke. ”

She began to remember when she decided to take the tonics to start a new chapter.

Alex on the other hand still thought about his upcoming birthday the next day, he also tried remembering when he decided to start a new,

Alex and Greta both thought deeply about what their messenger had told them.

”Keke ” Greta called out to her Aunt

”Yh ”

”I love you, you know that ”

”Ok…..whats going on? ”

”I just don tell people that often, especially you and you have to hear it…..even if its the last thing you hear from me, ” Greta said as she hugged her aunt who was quite astonished.

Meanwhile, Alex went to Avias house. He knocked on the door and her mother opened it.

”Is Avia home? its urgent ” Alex asked.

”She isn , sorry son, ” her mother said and closed the door looking at her daughter who told her thank you after lying in her name.

Distraught Alex went back home and there, on top of his bed, he sighted the envelope.

Greta went to her school bag upstairs in her room and brought out the envelope. Alex brought out the tonic so did Greta. They took a moment before they gulped it in. After they had drunk it, they phoned their messenger and both went to their meeting points. Greta got to the alley first before Alex.

”You waiting for a cab or something? ” Greta asked Alex

”Something like that ” Alex replied. They were about to introduce themselves to each other when a dart-like object was fired at their necks and they fell to the ground. A huge man came out from the dark and lifted them into the car where Auriela was as well. He entered the car and then drove off, far away from their City.

Greta finally decided to open one of the doors and she went in. It was a dark space, she cried out,

”Hello, hello, is anyone here?! ”

She wanted to turn back and leave the room until suddenly, the door closed with a big bang. She was startled. She continued to shout,

”Is anyone here! ”

Soon, she heard someone calling her name. Her name was echoing all over the place. She began to panic, she continued asking, whos there repeatedly. It started screaming, Greta was terrified she ran, it was dark she couldn see a thing but she ran. She kept running until she tripped. It was holding her legs, she was crying, begging

”Leave me alone, please, leave me alone! ”

It dragged her slowly through the floors, she kept on screaming. It said to her,

”A night to remember. ”
