Chapter 123 Make Them Pay

As Xiang Ning watched Ding Maoxiong hesitate, he knew what he was thinking.
He smirked, then said, “Head Teacher Ding, our conditions are simple.
We only want the cultivation resources your school received during the wilderness activity.”

Ding Maoxiong knitted his brows.
Theoretically, it was a reasonable request.
No, actually, it was a great request because their school had only ranked fifth on the overall scoreboard; their prize was a year’s worth of cultivation resources with a hundred million dollars to spare.
But Xiang Ning’s request was unfair, since it wasn’t even worth half of Qiling Academy’s wager.
This was odd. 

On Qiling Academy’s side, the school had exploded in conversation because everyone knew that the wager was unbalanced.

“Is Xiang Ning stupid? How can he use resources worth three hundred million dollars to wager against a hundred million?”

Is there some other request you might not have mentioned?” Ding Maoxiong came to the conclusion that Xiang Ning must have other conditions. 

He was right.
Xiang Ning coldly snickered.
“I do, because two days ago, your students beat up a friend of mine at my school and traumatized my sister.
You’ll all apologize to them, then apologize to Qiling Academy in the name of your school!” 

Ding Maoxiong’s pupils constricted while the students behind him widened their eyes. 

“Head Teacher, don’t waste your time with him, let me fight him! He’s insulting us, insulting our school!” 

“Fuck, what right do you have to make our school apologize?”

Ding Maoxiong had left to make a phone call and just returned. 

Ding Maoxiong had a strange look, but still replied, “Yes, we accept the conditions.” 

“What? Head Teacher Ding accepted his request!” 

“Yeah, that’s the guy who made four of our teams quit the wilderness activity early!” 

Ding Maoxiong ignored the students and spoke up.
“How will you challenge our school’s students?” 

The corner of Xiang Ning’s lips curved upward.
Taking a step forward, he said, “Simple, we’ll do it one on one.
You all get your pick, as long as all ten of us are defeated, you win.
Of course, this is limited to students from your special training class.
There will be… no limits on the number of students you send.” 

It was as if a grenade exploded in a body of water.
The crowd marveled at how crazy their day had been.
It was a dream! Was this guy just here to give them money?

I’ve hated them since the beginning, come at me if you dare!” Li Minghao suddenly behaved like he had been possessed, especially when he looked at Xiang Ning’s condescending expression.
He really needed to vent his frustration, to punch someone. 

The bloodlust within Fang Rou and the rest had been activated too. 

Xiang Ning had no choice but to put in effort to make this work.
They were at a disadvantage, and if their morale fell now, it would defeat the purpose of coming here in the first place.
