Maria Theresa chandeliers and wall sconces appear to be made entirely of glass, but actually have a sturdy metal frame. Wrapping hand-blown glass panels, bent to size while still soft around a metal frame creates this effect. Then it is lavishly trimmed with crystal drops and prisms.
